Walking in the rain

I love walking in the rain, through puddles, watching the flowers fall under the weight of the water and the patter of the rain on the leaves of the trees. As I walked down through meadow, full of long grass and wild flowers, I take a seat under a tree, by the lake. I watch the down pour of the summer shower, as it disrupts the surface of the water and the rain drops splashing down leaving the a hazy mist over the water.

Swimming out to the pontoon anchored in the middle of the lake, laying there letting the warm summer rain splash down on me, while I drift away to the sound of the rain meeting the water.

As the rain subsides, the heat from the sun humidifies the air warming your skin, before plunging back into the cool water for the swim back to the jetty.
